Nov. 19th, 2009 @ 10:02 am Up for Auction: A YEAR of advertising on YA Books Central!
Okay, I've personally supported Tu Publishing with a donation. And I've offered up an auction for a critique (see below). I was wondering what else I could do...and here's my idea.

What you're bidding on...a full YEAR of banner advertising on www.yabookscentral.com YA (& Kids!) Books Central, one of the largest teen lit sites on the Internet today. The site receives over 400,000 pageviews a month (hits are in the millions). Perfect for authors or publishers. You can even send me a new banner every month, so you've got the potential of having 12 different ads over the course of the year. Advertising will start in January 2010 and go through December 2010. While I am thinking of revamping the advertising rate schedule, right now this would cost you $50 a month, so the total value of this is $600.00

Bidding starts at $20. Auction will end on December 8th, so the winner can be posted on December 9th.

The one caveat: advertising must be related in some way to the mission of the website (i.e. books, authors, review websites, etc.) and be rated for a general audience (no viagra ads, people). Ads must be acceptable to YABC.

If you have any question or would like to run an ad campaign by me before bidding, just ask!

UPDATE: Oh, and if you need help creating your banners? I'll help with that too. :-)

And do check out the other auctions and the Auction Rules! :-) http://community.livejournal.com/kickstart_tu/
